It had nothing to do with the arm, they actually wouldn't give it to any kid - becuase it supposedly can cause Hallucinations in .00000009% of children! We ended up changing Drs over the whole incident. New Dr. said this was crazy in most situations and very old science. So a very good Dr. friend of ours told us how to give her Tamiflu "in case we happened to have some laying around" (Eddie and I had been given it when Adam came down with it). Thankfully, it worked like a charm! AND, it seems like when you have the flu and a broken arm, that would be the IDEAL time to have hallucinations! Bless your hearts...you've been through enough yucko illness this year!! You've paid your dues already, plus some! Trey and I are headed to his pediatrician's office this morning to get his booster for the seasonal flu. He had his first shot about a month ago...hopefully it will fight off that regular flu that's out there. As for Swine Flu, I'm one of few people at Scott & White that are getting vaccinated for H1N1...I go in on Thursday for it. Unfortunately, due to the shortage on vaccines, I'm the only one in our family that can get vaccinated right now (since I'm pregnant), which makes me nervous for Trey. His doctor's office says they'll get vaccines soon enough, but I still don't like it. Luckily, he doesn't go to daycares, etc, so I'm hoping that will help us. But I still have to take him to grocery stores, etc...I just keep my Purell and Purell wipes handy and wipe everything down. I used to think that was silly when I saw other parents do it (before I was a parent)...now I'm one of them and COMPLETELY understand why they do it! :o) Anyway, we're off to run our errands, but wanted to send you a ((hug)) and let you know that we're praying for the boys, and for you and Brad.
